Your company will be exhibiting at CEDIA this year, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

The Energy Management HUB from RoseWater Energy Group is a high end product in a new category that has to be introduced to the innovator and early adopter market segments. The CEDIA integrator has access to those market segments, is a trusted professional, and has experience in launching new products. The CEDIA channel is the most efficient and cost effective way to access those dealers. We have put a lot of focus towards AV integrators and CEDIA professionals because we are interested in building a reputable team of dealers. We think that the HUB is truly the next great opportunity for the CI professional within the intelligent energy management and security channels. We’re committed to helping our dealers increase profitability, too, which is why we introduced a floor planning program in November of 2015. We invite those attending the show to stop by our booth (#6610) to learn more about the Energy Management HUB and the great business opportunities we have to offer.

What can a visitor to your booth expect to see this year?

We’re very excited to show new features for the HUB, show several of our recent installations at our booth this year, as well as testimonials from our valued customers. In addition, we hope that technologists will see how easy is it to participate in this new market opportunity and be a part of RoseWater Energy Group as a dealer.

Any new products you will be introducing?

At CEDIA 2016, we’ll be featuring the RoseWater Energy Management HUB, the only unit of its kind currently on the market. The Hub is the first all-in-one residential and light commercial power solution to integrate three capabilities into one platform to serve the entire needs of one premises. The Hub protects all home and office electronics by delivering clean and conditioned power and offers seamless and total system integration using a dual inverter system. With everything integrated into the HUB, it delivers 100% pure conditioned power with a zero transfer time UPS when switching power sources, and is ready for renewables, like solar or wind power, for those customers who desire green living and energy independence.

We’ll be featuring major enhancements and improvements to the Energy Management HUB, which were inspired by recent installs that were performed within the last year. The Energy Management HUB has been reengineered with an updated configuration to feature more kilowatt hours and we’ve created the Extra Battery Pack (EBP), a supplemental battery for HUB owners looking for additional power. In addition, we’ve also begun testing on a new ‘Time of Use’ algorithm which will allow HUB owners utilize a tiered power charging cycle. The new software will enable users to utilize the HUB’s power during the day, when energy prices have spiked, and recharge in the middle of the night, when energy prices are lower.

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

Aside from looking for products that compete with our Energy Management HUB, I am most interested in looking at the proposed products that manufacturers have and ideas that technologists have on the immediate future of technology. Are people optimistic of the future of technology? Are people looking for new ways to leverage the unique access that the technologist has to the upscale marketplace? I’m really interested to see the platform that manufacturers are using to target technologists with an upscale marketplace.

CEDIA offers educational and product training, is your company involved in any of them this year and if so what can an integrator expect to learn at your training?

I’ll be presenting a Manufacturer Product Training and a CEDIA Course. At our Manufacturer Product Training, attendees can expect to learn why and how they can take advantage of the new product opportunity presented by the RoseWater Energy Management HUB. At my CEDIA course, I hope to teach attendees about the role of the technologists and CI professional in the intelligent energy management market, a market that is continuously growing and gaining momentum. Both courses will emphasize the amazing opportunity we have created for technologists and we invite those attending CEDIA to participate in one of our courses, even if they aren’t familiar with the HUB.

When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

This trade show provides us with the opportunity to meet with the best technologists and CI professionals in North America. Our goal is to intrigue them about the innovative product we have to offer, the Energy Management HUB, and get them excited about intelligent energy management resources. I believe that our success will be judged by the number of people who are interested in our product following CEDIA 2016.
